At Metropolitan Bilingual Nursery and Primary School, a child’s ability to learn is not determined by what their family can afford.
Since 2012, the school has opened its doors to children in Kumba, Cameroon; including hundreds whose families were displaced by the Anglophone Crisis. Many cannot afford the full cost of tuition. They are welcomed anyway.
Today, the school serves 385 children each year, giving them a place to learn, grow, and imagine a future beyond their circumstances.
SONACAM Foundation, Inc.’s mission is to fund scholarships, supplies, and infrastructure that keeps those doors open and builds toward the vocational campus Samuel Mbo Sona always envisioned.

MBNPS Scholarship Fund
385 children attend the Metropolitan Bilingual School each year. Most cannot afford full fees. Your scholarship of $97 keeps one child in school for a full year while also supporting teacher’s wages.
School Development Fund
The School Development Fund aims to build the infrastructure that education needs to thrive, from computer labs to restroom repairs, and creating the vocational campus Samuel Mbo Sona always envisioned.
